when you're fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors start making that beeping sounds it's time to change them but you shouldn't have to wait that long to change them always test them to make sure batteries running hitting the button once or twice a week if you have big house you want every room to have fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors especially in high risk areas like basements kitchens where eater heaters at stoves and the garage where cars sit especially turning on all that gas build up in the air going through out the house especially when people sleeping
